Hi team! During the last round of upgrades in February, we found that the RETS servers were still available and accepting login/search requests during their stated upgrade timeframe, but we weren't sure about the quality/reliability of the data acquired in that window since lots of field changes were still supposedly in flux.

In a perfect world, the login URLs would be disabled until the update is "completely complete" so that any regularly scheduled updates simply can't pull any data. Is that possible for this next round of July updates?

RETS is unavailable during the critical portions of the upgrade process (code and database changes). Metadata refreshes will also take the RETS server offline. If you are able to reach the server, then it means that neither of these processes are taking place at that time.

Note that it is possible to establish a session, run a search transaction, and subsequently be denied running further transactions when the RETS server is offline. Every request made to the server checks to ensure the server is available prior to executing the transaction.
