Identifying Images that need updating

When one is querying for photos that have been modified, is there anything persistent and unique in the headers that would identify the photo so it can be matched to itself if we have already pulled that photo?

As the Question indicates, I am looking for a way with paragon rets feeds to only actually pull photos that have changed.

I am not using the media resource as I don't see an identifier there either.

As the Question indicates, What can I am looking for expect to remain constant on a way media record in order to match records with paragon rets feeds to only actually pull photos media that I have changed.

I am not using the media resource as I don't see an identifier there either.pulled previously?
