THAAR - 403 Forbidden on images [closed]

https://thaar-rets.paragonrels.com/re... Username - RETSTHELMAN

Using GetObject Location=1, getting random 403 Forbidden on images. It works on a second or third attempt.

The 403 Forbidden happens on the url "//CDN" randomly.

Are you adding "http:" or "https:" to the URLs that are returned as relative starting with "//CDN"?

Yes, https is added to the URL. For MLS#96815, we retrieved 9 of 17 images from the url before seeing the 403 error. Then 2 hours later, we retrieved all 17 image urls successfully.

When pulling images using the URL returned by either the Media resource or GETOBJECT with Location=1. There is a Rate limit of: 5000 requests within 5 minutes, per IP Address, across all "cdnpara*.paragonrels.com" image URLs. When the limit is exceeded, the IP address is then blocked for several hours and a 403 error is returned while it is blocked. Limits were implemented to address abuse and to ensure stability of systems for our customers. To avoid this, you can add delays between image requests and/or you can also use multiple IP addresses, especially if you access multiple MLSs.
