I ran a query yesterday which generated 14 records:

I re-ran the query today which generated the following message:

Server Error 412 - Precondition set by the client failed when evaluated on the Web server. The request was not completed due to preconditions that are set in the request header. Preconditions prevent the requested method from being applied to a resource other than the one intended. An example of a precondition is testing for expired content in the page cache of the client. CheckUpDown

Why did the Web server fail the 'Precondition' specification sent by the client system?

We may need to change this error return to something else like 403 or something. But the way it exists now, if you get the HTTP 412 error it means you are trying to do a non-login request but the session is invalid or incorrect.

Thanks. I agree. A 412 error should only occur with an internal server issue. I would suggest that such be treated as a "401 Unauthorized" transaction.
