Not sure I follow your question?

Are you asking any of the following:

  1. Character set conversion?
  2. HTML entities to their applicable characters?
  3. URL decoding?
  4. MS Word decoding?

It may depend on which RETS client you are using, and if you are using a scripting language like PHP?

Some RETS Clients have a character set encoding setting you can choose from that may help some of this.

A common issue is when someone copies and paste text from Microsoft Word into a plain text field resulting in what looks like garbled text. If your using a scripting language you can use things like HTML Entities decode, URL Decoding and filters to translate some characters.
