Northeast Louisiana Association of Realtors....Can you do specialized IDX searches to link to specific property types on a website from the RETS feed?

Can you add specific IDX searches to add links to your website? For instance, If I have a link on the website for Waterfront Properties, is it possible to have a search already performed so that when someone clicks on the link for waterfront properties, it pulls up all the current waterfront properties? Our MLS said they only have one RETS feed they give out. Do they have make it available for additional ones or what has to be done?

I'm not familiar with your specific setup, but you should be able to make IDX queries in a number of ways, with various criteria. RETS feeds are available if you want to make custom queries to get data for your site. However, you will want to store the data locally, when you pull from RETS. Direct / Live RETS queries are not recommended.
