RETS Server host time

Host: http://neren.rets.paragonrels.com/ret...

RETS versions 1.5 - 1.8

Residential Listing #4653779

Why is the server returning the EntryDate: 8/16/17 2:35 in GMT?

Testing using all RETS versions (1.5, 1.7, 1.7.2, 1.8) the server is sending data from the server to the client in GMT time when I believe it should be in host time.

It's my understanding from the RETS specification:

Sending queries to the server:

All dates and times submitted in queries MUST be in GMT. (Beginning with RETS 1.7.2 dates and times submitted in a query may utilize time offsets relative to UTC).

Receiving data from the server:

All other dates or times are interpreted in host time.

Paragon RETS returns datetime values in GMT. We advertise this in the 1.7.2 and 1.8 System metadata.

<system systemid="MLSID" systemdescription="MLSID" timezoneoffset="Z">
