In an effort to move toward the more secure use of RETS for MLS data access by third party vendors, Black Knight MLS Solutions plans to retire the Milky Way Export Tool on July 30, 2015.

FAQ for Customers and Third Party Vendors

What info do you need if I or a Vendor has an issue?

• Account Information for the Vendor
• Explanation of the problem, with details, and example times.
• Fiddler Log (if possible)
  • Allows Vendor Support to see exactly what is being requested, with all the appropriate variables, URLs, and data.
  • Fiddler is a browser add on most vendors/developers should be aware of.

• Sensitive data is being passed on an insecure connection

Do you have a RESTful API?

• No. At this time we do not have a REST API. RETS is the only option.

How much time do I have?

The absolute retirement date for the product will be July 30, 2015

If needed, a parallel RETS feed can be configured.
