Understanding THAAR Board

  • retag add tags

Hello! The staff member I spoke with at THAAR said they are RESO compliant and when looking at the data I receive from them, I get fields like these:

LM_Char1_1 LM_Char1_2 LM_Char1_3 LM_Char1_4

I downloaded the data dictionary at https://www.reso.org/data-dictionary/ in hopes for some insight, but I'm getting nowhere. Another examples is this:

label: LFD_INTERIORAMENITIES_6
value: 84,85

Should I be looking somewhere else for documentation on mapping?

From a previous question, you are using the RETS feed to pull your data.
You would need to check with the MLS to see if they support another feed for data dictionary compliance.
Otherwise you would need to pull the metadata for RETS and use it for your mapping.
You can also use https://retsmd.com/ to view the metadata.
Within the metadata it defines the system name value which is what you are seeing above.
But there is also a long name value for each field which is more descriptive for mapping.
"LFD_*" fields are property feature data which are multi-lookup fields.
Each number is the lookup value for a different feature.
If you request data in format=COMPACT-DECODED you will see more usable values for the feature fields.
