API rate limiting questions & SSL/TLS issues

First, would it be possible to get more specifics around the rate limits for this API? We were told the rate limit is currently 5000 requests per 5 minute period.

  • Are there any requests per second rate limits?
  • Is there any sort of hourly limit on top of the 5000 requests per 5 minute period?
  • And is that limit per MLS, or will the limit apply to any and all Paragon API connections we have as a whole? We work with 90 or so MLSs that use the Paragon RETS feeds and are curious how that limit would or would not scale over time if more MLSs transition to using the API over the RETS feeds.

Second, our developers ran into some SSL/TLS issues when attempting to access the data via our servers. SSLLABS.com shows this API has an issue with any Windows OS below Windows 10, which equates to 2016/2019 servers. Would it be possible to update this to support Windows 2012 R2 Servers on TLS 1.2, especially considering Microsoft has extended support until Oct 10, 2023 for Windows Server 2012 R2?

Please let me know if you need any additional information from me. Thank you in advance for your assistance!
